It might not be the comparison people want to hear, but Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is very similar to former NFL signal-caller, Alex Smith.

Before eventually signing with the Minnesota Vikings in March of 2018, Kirk Cousins was replaced by the Washington Football Team a few weeks earlier when they made a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs to acquire quarterback Alex Smith. For Cousins, one doesn’t have to look very far as his career in the league has gone very similarly to Smith’s. N

Compared to Cousins, Smith had similar numbers and a similar lack of success in the postseason during his time in the NFL. Smith started under center in seven playoff games during his pro career and his teams only won two of them.
